Katie has been teaching mindfulness practices for over 12-years, assisting others in finding their purpose by bridging the psycho-spiritual nature of our being through embodied practices. 

She has worked extensively with Plant Medicine, Shamans and Spiritual Teachers all over the world that have greatly helped shape her practices. Since 2015 she has been studying Natural Time and is the creator and facilitator of the 13-Moon Earthside Program. Katie believes that Natural Time is the fundamental principle governing our ability to experience harmony within all our relations. 

Katie identifies as a Medicine Woman, Artist and Teacher who is passionate about showing others what the power of presence can provide as our greatest ally in a world that is saturated with stimulus. She loves bringing humor and joy into her work as a reminder that amidst the deep Soul journeys we are all on, there is a divine essence that remains untouched. Katie facilitates group classes, ceremonies, natural time readings and private counseling sessions remotely and throughout the U.S. She currently resides in New Mexico. 

In her formal schooling she received a B.A. in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota and an M.S in Yoga Therapy from Maryland University of Integrative Health. Katie also served in the U.S. Peace Corps. The most pertinent certifications she has received influencing her work today have been Trauma Sensitive Yoga through the Trauma Center of Boston, Yoga and Social Justice through Off the Mat and into the World and is a certified Reiki Practitioner.
