Visualization is the cognitive process of purposefully generating visual mental imagery, with eyes open or closed, simulating or recreating visual perception, in order to maintain, inspect, and transform those images. In visualization we focus on imagining those behaviors and events that we would like to have occurred in the real life. It also involves the voluntary practice of the associated thoughts and emotions with the intent to experience a subsequent psychological, physiological or social benefit or effect e.g. alleviating psychological pain including sadness, low mood and anxiety and expediting the healing of wounds to the body.

Visualization starts with relaxing your body and then creating a mental image. The efficiency of practice can depend on your determination and intention.

Visualization can help us reprogram old fight-or-flight stress reactions and help us move into a more empowered mindset.

When we train the mind to truly focus on positive intentions without feeding into negative bias, the odds of attracting that intention to manifest into reality increase.
