Anjali Sunita is an Ayurvedic practitioner and educator, yoga teacher and teacher trainer, Thai massage practitioner, musician, and founder of Village Life Wellness. For more than two decades, she has studied and taught practices that cultivate a more attentive relationship with the body, breath, and everyday life.
Her training spans classical Ayurveda, yoga philosophy and practice, pranayama, Sanskrit, Thai Yoga Massage, and North Indian classical music. She has studied yoga and Ayurveda in both the United States and India and brings traditional teachings into conversation with the realities of contemporary life.
Anjali travels throughout the East Coast teaching workshops and trainings and educating yoga teachers in Ayurveda, yoga philosophy, embodied practice, and the art of teaching. She also leads retreats and longer-form Ayurveda and yoga programs through Village Life Wellness.
Her teaching is experiential, curious, and deeply embodied. Whether working with movement, touch, breath, food, or Ayurveda, she invites students to become more perceptive—to notice sensation, recognize patterns, experiment, communicate, and respond to what is actually happening—while keeping these practices connected to their cultural and philosophical roots.
