What is Interfusion Festival?

Interfusion is the largest indoor transformative festival in North America bringing together like-minded souls from across the US and beyond for four days of learning, healing, play and connection.

Where is the festival located?

Interfusion Festival will take place at the 4 star Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel: 1700 Richmond Hwy, Arlington, VA 22202.

While not required for Festival participation, we recommend that travelers consider staying at the hotel to emerge into the complete festival community experience.

Is there an event theme?

The next festival theme is Ascension. When we ascend we come into alignment with the highest version of ourselves. We reclaim our wholeness and rise to our potential. Ascension is seating in the power of the fullness of who we are.

Do I need a partner?

No partner is necessary. Partnerships may be created during workshops with instructors often providing an option to rotate with others to create the best learning environment possible. You may also choose to stay with one partner.

I am new. Are there beginner workshops?

Absolutely. The festival has plenty of choices for beginners. Please refer to the full festival schedule before the event and look for offerings marked as “beginner” or “all levels” to plan your experience.

How do I sign up for workshops?

Beginning on Nov 28th, all pass holders will receive access by email to the Sched system to plan their experience. Pass holders may visit the Interfusion 2022 Sched Page at any time to log back in and access their personal schedules. How do I access the Metro?

The entire DMV, just an escalator ride away. The hotel is located directly above the Crystal City Metro stop, making it easy for you to travel in the areas in and surrounding the nation’s capital.

Is there an airport shuttle?

Yes. Take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary round trip shuttle to/from Reagan National Airport and travel with ease.  The airport is located just 2 miles from the hotel.

Are children permitted to the festival?

No individuals under the age of 18 are permitted access to the festival.

What are some places to eat near the hotel?

Many other local restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. A list of restaurants is available upon request to the Crystal Gateway Marriott.

How should I dress and what should I bring?

How to dress and what to bring will depend on the workshops you’re planning on taking and other activities you’re planning on participating in. We recommend comfortable clothing. Consider avoiding loose fitting clothing and jewelry as they may become safety hazards. For dance activities we recommend dance shoes and/or socks. Yoga mats will be provided but we recommend you also bring your own. A Sport towel and hand sanitizer are recommended but not necessary.

What if I bought multiple tickets in one order?

A separate email is required for each attendee to use the Interfusion Festival 2022 scheduling system. If your group registered multiple tickets using only one email, please use this form to confirm the correct email of everyone in the group to ensure they may access schedule sign-ups.

What time does registration open and how do I check in?

Festival registration hours are as follows:

    • Thursday: 2:00pm – 12:00am
    • Friday: 8:00am – 2:00am
    • Saturday: 8:00am – 2:00am
    • Sunday: 8:00am – 2:00am

Once you arrive at the hotel, proceed to the second floor and check in with the registration desk. Please bring your photo ID.

What is the hotel’s guest room cancellation policy?

The Crystal Gateway Marriott cancellation policy regarding room reservations under the Interfusion Community discounted block is as follows:

“Cancellation is permitted until 11:59 PM 3-days prior to arrival at no charge.  Rooms cancelled after 11:59 PM 3-days prior to arrival will be assessed a fee equal to the first night’s room and tax. Please note, the credit card that is used during the booking process is required at check-in or you may present another form of payment.  If you’d like to secure room and tax charges on the card used during the booking process please contact the hotel directly for a credit card authorization form.”

I am unable to attend. What are my options?

While all ticket sales are final, pass holders who are unable to attend Interfusion Festival 2022 may have their ticket carried over for up to two years by filling out this form. Persons who choose to defer their pass will receive a 2023 ticket. Pass transfers may be requested at no charge by using this form until Monday, November 8, 2021.

I would like to teach or present at Interfusion, how do I apply?

The Interfusion Festival Artist Lineup is currently full and persons interested in applying for future artist positions may submit their information and resume/CV under the application form here. Program Directors have discretion over the selection of artists of their respective programs and review applications when there is a need or opening to fill. Artist selections are made and approved by Program Directors with a vote of concurrence by the Board of Directors (BOD) from a resources and shared initiatives/values standpoint. Please direct all inquiries to teach, speak or DJ at Interfusion Festival through formal application.

What are Interfusion Festival’s COVID-19 plans?

See the COVID-19 Policy & Action Plan for details regarding the five layers of protection framework aims to reduce the risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection and severity of illness of COVID-19. In Summary:

 1. Testing Requirement
A negative COVID-19 test result no more than 72 hours before arrival is required.

2. Vaccination Policy
Proof of Full Vaccination by a COVID-19 vaccine or exemption is required.

3. Symptom Screener
A Symptom Screener is required for all persons entering festival grounds.

4. Temperature Checks
Temperature checks are required for all persons entering festival grounds.

5. Cleaning & Disinfection
Enhanced cleaning and disinfection protocols including use of electrostatic sprayers with hospital-grade disinfectants.

There is a risk to all persons attending the festival during the pandemic, including breakthrough COVID-19 infections for the fully vaccinated. Our hope is that by working together as a community, and by employing a combination of the best tools we have available, that we may hold a safer and more responsible event to return to after 2 years since the last Interfusion Festival in 2020.
