What is Interfusion Festival?
Interfusion Festival is the largest indoor transformative festival in the US occurring on January 16 – 20, 2020 (MLK Weekend) bringing together like-minded souls for four days of learning, healing, play and connection. Interfusion provides a holistic opportunity for participants at all levels to explore dozens of practices with no partner required, from beginners to advanced offerings. Participants choose their adventure across a spectrum of over 100 festival activities and emerge into an openhearted community experience.
Where is the festival located?
Interfusion Festival will take place at the 4 star Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel: 1700 Richmond Hwy, Arlington, VA 22202. While not required for Festival participation, we recommend that travelers consider staying at the hotel to emerge into the complete festival community experience.
Is there an event theme?
The 2020 theme is Evolution. To evolve is to take a journey of exploration and expansion. It is a deepening, a period of intentional incubation. A path to greater awareness, wisdom, illumination and self-mastery. To being fully-realized and whole.
Do I need a partner?
No partner is necessary. The community has a vibrant mix of men and women attending. Partnerships are created easily during each workshop and are often rotated multiple times by the instructor to create the best learning environment possible.
I am new. Are there beginner workshops?
Absolutely. The festival has plenty of choices for beginners. Please refer to the full festival schedule before the event and look for offerings marked as “beginner” or “all levels” to plan your experience.
How do I sign up for workshops?
If you are a ticket holder, you will receive an email from Sched (our scheduling system) with an access link to sign up for workshops. For detailed guidance and FAQ on the schedule sign-up system, please see the sign-ups page: https://interfusionfestival.com/signups/
How do I access the Metro?
The entire DMV, just an escalator ride away. The hotel is located directly above the Crystal City Metro stop, making it easy for you to travel in the areas in and surrounding the nation’s capital.
Is there an airport shuttle?
Yes. Take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary round trip shuttle to Reagan National Airport and travel with ease. The airport is located just 2 miles from the hotel.
Are children permitted to the festival?
No individuals under the age of 18 are permitted access to the festival.
How should I dress during the daytime and what should I bring?
How to dress and what to bring will depend on the workshops you’re planning on taking and other activities you’re planning on participating in. We recommend comfortable clothing. Consider avoiding loose fitting clothing and jewelry as they may become safety hazards. For dance activities we recommend dance shoes and/or socks. Yoga mats will be provided but we recommend you also bring your own. A Sport towel and hand sanitizer are recommended but not necessary.
What time does registration open and how do I check in?
Festival registration hours are as follows:
- Thursday: 2:00pm – 12:00am
- Friday: 8:00am – 2:00am
- Saturday: 8:00am – 2:00am
- Sunday: 8:00am – 2:00am
Once you arrive at the hotel, proceed to the second floor and check in with the registration desk. Please bring your photo ID.

I can’t attend. Can I get a refund or transfer tickets?
All ticket sales are final and no refunds will be granted but you may sell your ticket to a friend. The deadline for ticket transfer requests is December 1, 2019. A $40 transfer fee will apply for full passes and $20 for day passes. The fee may be paid by the original ticket holder or the person ticket is being transferred to.To request a ticket transfer see the following link.
