DJ Sky is a New York–based DJ and lifelong musician whose sets are rooted in deep musical curiosity and intentional storytelling.
Originally from Oakland, California, Sky grew up surrounded by the sounds of soul, R&B, and hip-hop—music that still shapes the emotional core of her sound today. After seven years of formal music study, her palette expanded across genres, rhythms, and global influences, giving her an eclectic ear and a deep respect for the craft of musical curation.
Known for thoughtfully crafted journeys rather than simple playlists, DJ Sky approaches every set with care for atmosphere, flow, and connection on the dance floor. Her music invites dancers to slow down, listen, and fully inhabit the moment.
For Sky, DJing in the Brazilian Zouk community is more than playing songs—it’s about creating spaces where music, movement, and human connection meet.
