Keira (Dawson) Driver (It/any) is a writer, activist and world-weaver. Its dream is to help create a world that works for all humans; based on authenticity, radical acceptance and compassion, informed consent, equality, and personal empowerment. It has been making that dream a reality through teaching, event organizing, and community stewardship for the past nine years.
It is committed to social justice education through its business (Trans-Formation, https://transformwithdawson.com/) that is trauma & intersectionality informed, and geared towards cis allies, co-workers, friends, and family members. Its life experiences and the identities it holds; trans-femme, childhood abuse survivor, white-labeled, and autistic informs its work. Facilitator trainings offered by New Culture organizers as well as The Transgender Training Institute (https://www.transgendertraininginstitute.com/) have given it the tools to teach others.
It has worked with various cis-majority groups over the years to create more gender informed spaces that are safer and more comfortable for trans and non-binary folks to exist in. It has accomplished this through teaching workshops, individual coaching, facilitating embodied Gender Experiences, and co-developing systems to relieve the burden of education from those that hold any marginalized identities. This work has been most prominent in its role as an organizer with Center For A New Culture (https://www.cfnc.us/).
