Kimber Brenneman, PhD has been practicing yoga since 2008 and completed her 200-hour yoga teacher certification in 2014. This was shortly after earning her doctorate in Bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago. While she still thinks like a scientist, she has left the lab to dedicate herself to helping others better connect with their bodies. She does this by teaching yoga, and acro yoga, and as a Thai Bodywork practitioner. Kimber became a Certified Thai Bodywork Practitioner in 2015 at the Thai Bodywork School and Coaching the Body Institute in Evanston, IL. Her understanding of anatomy and trigger point therapy positively influences her yoga teaching. She is also a certified acro yoga teacher through Partner Acrobatics. Kimber’s mission is to guide others toward better communication with their bodies so they can find better physical and emotional balance.
