Logan’s love for the body, movement, dance, and community shows from the moment his class begins. He comes from a multidisciplinary background in dance, martial arts, calisthenics, and generalist movement, and has studied under teachers including Ido Portal, Tom Weksler, and Ape Co Movement School.
After years of intensive practice, he went on to teach professionally at Ape Co Movement School. He has since led classes, workshops, and intensives across the US, Europe, and Asia, and is now based in Berlin.
His classes encourage people to move more and to reconnect with the simple pleasure of moving. He pairs this with a meticulous, technical approach, helping students work with their bodies intentionally and build a deeper understanding of how they move.
At the heart of his work is a study of the principles shared across all forms of movement. He explores them through Brazilian Zouk, floorwork, postural and mechanics training, contact improvisation, and generalist movement games and exercises.
More than anything, Logan is driven by the practice itself and by sharing it wholeheartedly with others.
