Please join us in congratulating Ms. Emma Olmedo on her appointment as Healing Arts Program Director of Interfusion Festival. In her new role, Emma will oversee the development of the Healing Arts Program, upholding the cultural and academic integrity of practices, provide leadership to program guides, recommend novel ways to better serve the needs of the community, and serve on one or more Interfusion Festival board or committees.
Emma comes to Interfusion with 10 years of experience as an intuitive healer. She combines her Reiki Master certification, clairvoyant abilities, and Shamanic training to help her clients pursue healing. Emma’s mission is to hold space for people on their spiritual journey of self-love, awareness, and expression. She founded KiVibes, based in Tyson's Corner, VA, where she creates a welcoming environment for clients to benefit from energy healing, spiritual guidance, and intentional jewelry.
“Two years ago, I went to Interfusion for the first time and it opened me to so many life-changing experiences. This was the first time I felt truly ‘seen’ as a person — I felt safe and inspired. The next year I was given the opportunity to facilitate workshops and I remember thinking, ‘I really want to contribute more to this vision’. Fast forward another year - I find myself in a position to do exactly that! I can’t think of a better way to help serve this community, and I’m so excited to be part of the team that makes it all happen,” said Emma in accepting her appointment.
Emma envisions a future where all beings have the opportunity to step into their personal power and intentionally pursue their life passions.
“Emma’s energy, values, and vision will be an incredible asset to our Healing Arts program and artists, and our overall festival experience. Having been an artist and attendee in previous years, she brings invaluable first-hand perspectives to connect her service role with the people it impacts most: our artists and our wider community. We’re thrilled to have her and look forward to learning from her,” said Ms. Jonelle Lesniak, who served as the Healing Arts Director in 2019-2020.
