Sharing Gratitude With Gui Prada
Brazilian Zouk Director, 2019 – 2023
If it feels right, kindly join us in sharing gratitude to Gui Prada for his years of collaboration with our project as Brazilian Zouk Program Director of Interfusion Festival. Since 2019, Gui has served as an integral member of our team and will continue as a senior baseline artist of Interfusion Festival moving into 2024.
Gui’s dedication with our project has helped to spread the joy of self-expression through shared movement to thousands of students at Interfusion Festival. His outstanding work ethic and commitment to a creative process with artists has led to the successful implementation of the BZP educational offerings for our growing multidisciplinary festival community. Highlights of Gui’s accomplishments as an Interfusion Team member include:
Collaborating with guides to design four special intensives for experienced dancers and overseeing participant qualifications; Opening the door for a progressive Brazilian Zouk beginner track series for new dancers; and Working closely with senior DJ artists to implement the day and night Zouk DJ schedule programming at Interfusion Festival.
Interfusion Festival was founded in 2016 under The Institute for Integrative Wellness (IFIW) and since that time, it has become the primary indoor transformative festival of North America. It is a grassroots community-centered creative project with more than twenty percent of participants involved in the creative or services process that brings Interfusion Festival to life.On behalf of the Interfusion Team, we share gratitude to Gui for his years with our project team, and we wish him great success with world travels as a exceptional teacher of dance and with all future creative endeavors.
